Target Audience Research 2- New York Times
The New York Times is an American newspaper based in New York City with worldwide influence and readership. Founded in 1851, the paper has won 125 Pulitzer Prizes, more than any other newspaper. The Times is ranked 17th in the world by circulation and 2nd in the U.S. Regular readers of the New York Times. The NYT readers also tend to be younger than average. Nearly a third (32%) of regular Times readers – are younger than 30. However, they do have a older audience as well. With articles on grandchildren, debt, and 401ks they appeal more logically to older audiences though majority of their audience is young, working, and liberal. The NYT does have both conservative and liberal stances throughout the magazine.
