Creative Critical Reflection 1

1. How does your product use or challenge convention and how does it represent social groups or issues?

My magazine Modern Politics challenged many convections. In regard to the color scheme the colors I used a black and white filter to incite a old- time feel. My cover photo was of a gavel. This is a central image, which a convention I used to attract a certain reader. The gavel is iconic and gave the impression that the magazine had something to do with law and/or politics. I used cover lines on the cover page of the article names to give a sense of the articles that would be featured in the magazine. My use of questions gave the impression that there will be a interview and many different articles. Each of which representing a different social group or class. My magazine represents many social groups, both politically and socially. The representation in my magazine represents many different social groups. Both Republican, Democrat, and Independents. In the articles, they are written by many different perspectives on many different age groups. Because all political groups are in Modern Politics, socially, all groups except those who are far to either side politically. Regarding age many age groups are represented as well al those of different races and financial backgrounds. Modern Politics is all inclusive.
